Pour cette nouvelle saison du label D!fu au Terminal, les fondateurs du label, Laurent et Jacques, ramènent la crème de la crème des djs undergroung croisés aux détours de leurs gigs ou des collaborations du label.
De la qualité, rien que de la qualité.

La musique pop fut l’une de ses premières influences, avant le punk, le hardcore et enfin la techno et ses rythmes répétitifs si caractéristique, pour lesquels l’artiste voue un véritable culte.
Les DJ sets techno de Barbara sont également emprunts d’une touche house hypnotique, intense et mélancolique : “ce que j’apprécie avant tout c’est quand sur le dancefloor, le danseur ne penses plus à rien, se laissant littéralement transporter par la musique”
Véritable passionnée, Barbara Hofmann trouve aussi à diffuser sa musique dans le cadre d’une émission de radio et l’organisation de différentes soirée à Nuremberg.

The power of sound, the transmission of emotion, that moment of reckless abandon, of losing yourself to the music: that omnipotent, transcendental protagonist. These magical situations, where all is pushed to the extreme and releases an unbound energy, effortlessly outvying any attempts to describe it. The intimate moment of coming undone, satisfaction, sufficiency. A very real illusion.
Pop was Barbara Hoffman’s first strong influence, which quickly drifted into punk, hardcore and industrial alike. The anarchic persistence of straight repetitive drums was probably what first triggered her passion for house and techno. Her sets are characterised by hypnotic house blueprints – intense, spherical, melancholy, borne on movement, the body, longing. “I like it when you don’t think about anything else any more; the music consumes you. It is and always will be the constant.”
She has been running nights for quite sometimes. In addition, she has hosted a radio show and organised many different events in Nuremberg, where she is based. Being part of collectives has shown her exactly what it means to host self-organised parties, something she is very passionate about.
